Great Containers. Invisible Online?
See how CASA Media House helped Sea Can Guys rank across Canada with a smart SEO architecture and content strategy tailored to their industry.
About the Client
Sea Can Guys is a national supplier of shipping containers in Canada selling, renting, and modifying units for clients in industries like construction, mining, events, agriculture, and more.
Their real-world reputation was growing fast. But their website wasn’t keeping up. It was minimal. Static. Barely ranking. And certainly not converting visitors into customers.
In early 2025, Sea Can Guys approached CASA Media House with a clear goal:
“We want to be the online leader in shipping containers across Atlantic Canada.”
The Problem: A Site That Couldn’t Scale
The original Sea Can Guys website was a single landing page with limited information, no SEO strategy, and no structure for product or location targeting. Even as their business grew, their digital footprint remained nearly invisible.
Key issues holding them back:
- No segmentation: Visitors couldn’t easily navigate to rentals, purchases, or modifications
- Poor local visibility: No targeting for different provinces or cities
- Unclear content structure: No pages for industries, container types, or dimensions
- Outdated visuals & UX: Lacked trust signals, modern layout, and clear conversion paths
- Limited indexability: Google couldn’t understand what they offered or who they served
The CASA Solution: Redesign + SEO, Ground-Up
We assigned a blended team of CASA web developers, UX designers, and SEO strategists. Our goal wasn’t just to “build a prettier site” it was to give Sea Can Guys the digital presence of an industry leader.
- Step 1: Full SEO Audit + Industry Analysis
- Step 2: Custom Architecture for National SEO
- Step 3: Design & Development Execution
- Step 4: Launch + Ongoing SEO Growth Campaign
Our SEO team ran a comprehensive review of their existing website and the container industry at large.
What we uncovered:
Untapped container-related keywords — from “buy 20ft container Nova Scotia” to “custom pop-up container retail”
Lack of competitive local SEO — most container suppliers weren’t targeting provinces or verticals properly
Opportunity in educational content — container specs, usage guides, and modification options were in demand but missing from most sites
With this insight, we developed a scalable keyword plan and content architecture to support long-term visibility.
We designed a new site map and UX framework focused on:
Clear product segmentation: Buy, rent, lease, modify each with its own experience
Geographic SEO: Canada-wide visibility with the ability to expand into city-specific landing pages
Industry verticals: Custom pages for each audience construction, events, retail, agriculture
Supporting content: Container dimensions, FAQs, featured projects, and real use-cases
Every page was designed for real users first but structured to be found by search engines as well.
With the architecture in place, our design and dev teams brought the site to life.
The build included:
Custom WordPress CMS with flexible content blocks
Core Web Vitals compliance — fast load times, responsive design, clean code
SEO-friendly structure: Meta tags, H1s, schema markup, internal linking
Trust-building visuals: High-quality images, real projects, testimonials, and certifications
Conversion-focused layout: Quote forms, call prompts, and contact options baked into every page
From homepage to quote form, the site now looked like a national brand and was built to perform like one too.
Once the new site went live in March 2025, we kicked off a monthly SEO program to build momentum.
Monthly SEO deliverables include:
Content creation: Blog articles, location pages, product guides
Technical optimization: Regular health checks, speed improvements, crawl audits
On-page SEO: Titles, headings, keyword targeting, internal link expansion
Local SEO: GBP optimization, map embeds, local content
Analytics reporting: Search Console, GA4, and keyword ranking tracking
The SEO campaign was structured to increase both qualified traffic and relevant leads.
